Drew was a dear friend of mine throughout highschool and the recent news about him has affected me deeply. All throughout my time at CBHS, Drew remained a constant source of jokes, support, and memories that will always stay with me. He was one of the first people to welcome me with open arms when I first stepped into Band class and remained as a friend I could rely on.

Whether it was joking around and wasting time in trombone sectionals or our too frequent after school Taco Bell trips, I could always count on him for a good laugh, deep conversation, or a pick-me-up after a rough day. He was just a guy that I could rely on to brighten my day and push me out of my comfort zone because I knew he cared.
