Brooks Lamb, a history major from the Class of 2017, has secured a publishing deal on his new book, Overton Park: A People’s History. Lamb is currently working as the Conservation Projects Manager of Rural Lands for The Land Trust for Tennessee. The book was written during his tenure at Rhodes College and focuses on the history and people’s stories of the nearby Overton Park. Published by the prestigious University of Tennessee Press, Overton Park is slated to come out on the ninth of November and will be available from Amazon on the twenty-first of December. Lamb will also be coming to Rhodes on the 27th of November to discuss both his time as a student and his book.
